Subject: Casting Tuition.
Sir/madam, My son and I recently took a fly casting lesson with Peter Hartley and we
would like to say what an excellent lesson it was. Peter is extremely knowledgeable and
a superb tutor and we both left feeling that it was money well spent and a thoroughly
pleasant few hours. Not to mention that we can now both get a line in the water in a
reasonable fashion. Thank you.

Stillwater Trout: a Fly Fisher’s First Guide, 4th edition; in ‘Reservoir Guides‘ series gives the basic information a beginner needs. You get this from me at £5-50 (post paid), or buy it at Grafham Lodge (or the other Anglian Lodge shops).

Reservoir Trout a Bank Angler’s Guide and Reservoir Trout a Boat Fisher’s Guide books include further technical detail to help the development of their reader’s skills. These are also available direct from me, or from the Lodge.

Where should I fish at Grafham? Get a 'reservoir Guide' book.     If you fish Grafham rarely, it can be hard to find fish without local knowledge of the hot spots to try in the conditions of the day. This important information appears in the ‘Reservoir Guides’ series which, at Grafham,  includes one guide book for bank anglers and one for boat fishing, pictured here. Choosing successful local anglers as co-authors, I wrote these to make available to all fly fishers as much on-the-spot information about Grafham as possible. The ‘Reservoir Trout’ Guide books provide useful background ideas.  Buy copies of the Grafham Water Guides at the Lodge, or direct from me. Again, see more on my own web site, www.hlredseal.co.uk
