Welcome to our website!

We are an association of  fly fishers who fish at Grafham Water for rainbow
and brown trout. If you fish at Grafham, for the benefits available, you should
consider joining. Whether you are a pleasure angler or a more dedicated
competition angler, this is the association to which you should belong.

An opportunity to make friends with others sharing your interests.   Advice and support from local anglers.
Which flies to use.  Our fly box is open to members only.   Where to fish.  Check out our members only forum for up to the minute info
Organised boat and bank matches throughout the season.  Follow the Competitions link.   Free entry to monthly prizes for biggest fish.
Free third party liability insurance, if you injure a bystander.   Support of Salmon and Trout Association, ACA, Federation of Midland Fly Fishers and The Wild Trout Trust.
Twice monthly programme of winter meetings.   All for the price of less than a day ticket, runs from January to December.

Updated 12/05/2008: AW Fishery Reports, Club Bank & Boat update for Floating Line Competition

 

The new youngest member Joe Easton, 10 on Easter Sunday, finally took on Grafham Water. A super 2lbs 8oz Rainbow was finally brought to the net but it did take quite some time.  The fish took a gold headed damsel fished on a intermediate slime.

 

 

Whilst Joe was just making a great start to his fishing career at Grafham Jack his brother fished on the same day and tool three fish but one was a superb 4lbs 8oz Rainbow.
